SPRING has SPRUNG finally!

It is so awesome to walk up our mtn and watch the new things popping up. Flowers, buds, grasses, etc. It did snow day before yesterday - didn't stick. But, it is spring now.

A beautiful sunshiney day - Saturday Feb 21.....

Mike and I are painting what will be the new art gallery. It's not too bad a job but will need two coats. The room has it's own entrance and used to be my son, Dalton's bedroom. He's living with his bio dad his last year of h.s. in Michigan. A long ways away!
After painting, we will clean the carpet. The put up the grids and lighting. Then the mosaic art windows. Then build the deck off of it which will have seating and a gazebo.
Next we will have an Open House - probably the first part of June. Next our annual party - around the solstice and father's day.
Very excited about all of it!!

Art and Life

I love art and I love making art. Mosaic art is what I do and I specialize in stained glass mosaic art done on antique windows and other things. I started to mess around making it December of 2003 while on chemo. I was trying to make presents for my grown daughter and her partner. I guess I did okay because my daughter then entered me into a juried art show for May of 2004 and I was accepted. The pieces keep falling into place ------ PUN INTENDED ;-)

I'll write more later. For now the message here is creativity of any kind is so healing!
